I started WiW for women like you—women who are sick and tired of throwing away their money, time, and effort into diets that don’t work; women who are ready for a new approach to wellness—one that lasts a lifetime. My weight loss philosophy is my wellness philosophy. Toss the scale and focus instead on making overall healthy lifestyle changes. Weight loss will be a natural fringe benefit—without all the worry and guilt. What else happens? Your body will find its natural, true size, and you begin taking your entire focus off what you look like and find value in what you can do and how you feel. I’m so glad you’ve made your way to Women in Wellness™! Whether your desire is weight loss or improving your body image, eating habits, fitness, lifestyle, or health, you’ve come to the right place! Too many of us are at battle with our bodies. At one end of the spectrum, two-thirds of us are overweight or obese. At the other end, approximately 15 million struggle with eating disorders. If you take those of us who are left in between, and sift out those who are unhealthy about being healthy, there aren’t too many of us who are truly living lives of wellness. Enter: Women in Wellness™ and our “No-Dieting Zone!” At Women in Wellness™ we believe that each person and every body is unique and special—curves and all. We believe that nourishing our souls is as important as nourishing our bodies. We believe in treating our bodies with respect, without becoming obsessive about them. We believe that laughing with friends is as important as squeezing in that last workout of the week, that eating isn’t something that should be dreaded, and that you can find joy in moving your body. At Women in Wellness™, you will find the tools you need to begin living life to its fullest, the way it was intended to be. You’ll learn how to take life’s setbacks and failures and turn them into triumphs and successes. And you’ll make your last diet, your last diet!
